Amidst the Allegheny Highlands of West Virginia, chandler and folk artist, Jane Nett, combines traditional candle-smithing with contemporary design concepts and creates each Gauley River Rustics fine candle by hand. The rugged textures and vibrant hues of her work reflect the countryside of Southern West Virginia and the style of Appalachia.

Gauley River Rustics fine candles are made with clean burning paraffin wax, cotton wicking, premium oils and extraordinary original fragrance recipes. The signature rugged texture of the candles is created with a secret blend of all natural materials, including actual sand from the banks of the Gauley River.
