A publisher of fine art and illustrated books hired our firm to develop a marketing plan for the internet that would allow them to sell their merchandise online, as well as in book stores. I was in charge of this project. The publishing company has received numerous awards for intellectual and artistic achievement. Their children’s books produces high-quality illustrated books that appeal to the youth market. Their Gifts division produces desk diaries, stationery, and other printed merchandise.

I created an online marketing and branding program for the company emphasizing the high quality of their fine art and illustrated books and gift items. The company would have an online newsletter that would give subscribers discounts on books purchased online and in book stores and keep customer up to date on the publishing companies future releases.

The company would offer a catalog that would be sent to your home or office or wherever you wish it to be delivered with all of the companies’ products available with promotional deals involved, and also a listing of art exhibits and showings in your area with full and detailed information on what these events would contain can be requested.
Their web site would contain a list of art and architecture organizations that one can join and have links to these web sites, and a listing of all of their events. Also a huge emphasis was placed on the numerous awards the company has received for intellectual and artistic achievement over the years.

An assortment of promotional packages was offered to buyers as well. These promotions covered online purchases and book store promotions as well by offering coupons that could be printed out by going to the company web site and becoming a member of their association. These coupons would be accepted in certain book stores. This online package could be operated with expedience and a budget less that what was originally projected.

The online marketing program turned out to be very successful for the company increasing and improving their overall image, sales, visibility, and allowed them to introduce new products at a lower cost.
